All actions associated with completing formal legal opinions on the validity, enforceability, infringement, and/or non-infringement of a trademark right, includes opinions on infringement of a client's trademark by a non-client infringer. Work of outside vendors in conducting searches or otherwise assisting investigation should be an expense under E100.
