Contusion

Moderate traumatic brain injury (TBI) is a disruption in brain function caused by an external mechanical force, leading to a loss of consciousness lasting from 30 minutes to 24 hours, or post-traumatic amnesia lasting from 1 to 7 days. It requires medical intervention and often results in lasting cognitive, physical, and emotional impairments that may necessitate rehabilitation.
