TPS, Temporary Protected Status (TPS) is a temporary immigration status granted to eligible nationals of designated countries that are experiencing ongoing armed conflict, environmental disaster, or other extraordinary conditions. In the United States, individuals granted TPS are allowed to live and work in the U.S. for a limited period and are protected from deportation.
