Asylee
An asylee is an individual who has been granted asylum, a form of international protection, after proving a well-founded fear of persecution in their home country due to race, religion, nationality, membership in a particular social group, or political opinion. Once granted asylum, the asylee has the right to remain in the host country and may be eligible for certain benefits like work authorization.
