Adaptive Learning, or Adaptiveness, is the characteristic of some AI systems that allows them to change their behavior while in use based on interactions with input and data. This adaptation may involve changes in the model's weights or its internal structure, enabling the system to produce different results for the same inputs compared to its previous state.
