Request for Evidence

A Request for Evidence (RFE) in the context of immigration is a document issued by the government agency (e.g., United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS)) when an immigration application or petition lacks sufficient evidence or documentation. The RFE requests additional information or documentation from the applicant or petitioner to make a decision on the case.
