Financial Stability Oversight Council

The Financial Stability Oversight Council (FSOC) is a United States federal government organization, established by Title I of the Dodd'Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act. The Council is charged with identifying risks to the financial stability of the United States; promoting market discipline; and responding to emerging risks to the stability of the United States' financial system.
