Council of the European Union

The Council of the European Union, often referred to as the Council of Ministers, is a principal decision-making body of the European Union, where ministers from each member state convene to adopt legislation and coordinate policies. It represents the governments of the member states and, together with the European Parliament, exercises legislative and budgetary functions.
