Ménière's Disease

Ménière's disease is a chronic disorder of the inner ear characterized by recurrent episodes of vertigo (spinning sensation), tinnitus (ringing or buzzing in the ears), and fluctuating hearing loss. It is associated with an abnormal buildup of fluid in the inner ear, and diagnosis often involves confirming vestibular dysfunction through caloric or other vestibular tests and verifying hearing loss via audiometry.
